I am an out-of-network provider for all insurance companies. This allows me to ensure my time, energy and focus is on YOU! Insurance-based healthcare services require providers to prove the need for service without consideration for the patient. I want to ensure your goals, motivations, and desires are the sole focus and drive behind the care I provide.

An out-of-network provider is not contracted to bill insurance companies.
Each insurance plan includes rates and information regarding out-of-network services. Alive + Well is happy to provide you with documentation that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
We can also provide a “how to” guide for you to determine your eligibility for reimbursement.

Yes! Health savings and Flexible spending accounts can be used for payment of medical healthcare services.
Please contact the servicing provider of these accounts to determine if intuitive energy healing, wellness coaching, and lymphatic work are included as covered services.

No! In the state of Ohio, patients have “direct access” to physical therapy services and are not required to have a prescription from a doctor.
When submitting for reimbursement to your insurance, you may need to obtain a prescription at the request of your insurance company.

No! Physical therapists are musculoskeletal experts which means we can diagnose and treat injury and dysfunction related to how the body moves (muscles, bones, ligaments, tendons).
If I feel that your injury warrants further evaluation, I will refer you to the appropriate provider.

Each of the core services of Alive + Well starts with an evaluation. This time is designed around our four pillars of care.

Your first appointment (evaluation) will last between 60-90 minutes depending on the service.
Each follow-up session will last 60 minutes.

It depends! Each person is different and there are a variety of factors that can impact healing. On average most patients will need 5-8 sessions. A more accurate estimation will be provided to you following your initial evaluation.

Typically, physical therapy appointments are scheduled once per week. All other services are provided based on the needs of each person and their body.

Please arrive 5 minutes before your appointment. Upon arrival, you can come into the lobby area of Ignite Yoga if during normal business hours. If the lobby is locked, please send Abbey a text and let her know you have arrived. Appointments are not overlapped, and I ensure to plan time between appointments!

Yes! I will be sending you forms to fill out prior to your first appointment. I will need these completed before you arrive to ensure I am prepared for your first session.

Yes, Ignite yoga has a full bathroom and shower if needed.

Please come to your appointment in comfortable clothes if possible, although this is not required.
